A growing online publisher and events organiser for the digital marketing sector, based in Bristol, are seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to join their expanding team.The role will be primarily focused on b2b sales across the online publication and event exhibition & sponsorship sales.
Working alongside the existing sales team, the role will be to create and develop a customer base for both our online publication and conferences. This will include the development of existing relationships but is primarily focused on building a new business pipeline. This is an exciting opportunity, with the potential for quick progression, for an experienced sales executive to be a part of a successful sales team within a dynamic publishing & events company.
- As part of the sales team you will be responsible for developing new relationships to sell online media and event sponsorship packages
- Meet and exceed individual and departmental targets on a quarterly and annual basis
- Confident cold calling as well as managing existing accounts
- Works well in a team but can also work on their own initiative to establish new leads and successfully build and close a pipeline
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience
- Experience of online/digital marketing and social media preferred but not essential
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and positive team player
- Ambitious and driven
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Confident approach, hard-working, resilient
- Experience of hitting targets on a regular basis
- Attention to detail, management of sales pipeline and reporting
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy and IT skills
Ability to represent the company effectively to existing and prospective clients on the phone and face to face at client meetings and at events.
