Rakuten Marketing Europe is looking for a Network Development Executive or Manager to join our growing publisher services team in UK. Working alongside the Senior Manager, Network Development and the Network Development Team, the NDE will be responsible for the management of Publisher Services reporting, distributing communication on merchant requests, and developing a small portfolio of Global Publishers. This will drive revenue growth through new and optimised network partnerships within the Rakuten Affiliate Network.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

Through phone, face to face and email outreach, this role will involve working closely with internal teams, specific partners and publishers in their portfolio to maximize Rakuten Affiliate Network revenue.

 

A typical day will include responding to incoming emails and calls from new and existing publishers as well as working closely with the Global Account Management team to discuss and advise on publisher opportunities. Working with the Business Development and Network Development teams on a variety of reports that will gather information on publisher recruitment and payment inquiries.

 

Internal team management

  • Answer internal Publisher Services’ team queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate publisher outreach tactics and approach
  • Utilize Rakuten Affiliate Network reporting interface and analytical tools to gain insight
  • Contribute ideas or projects to help streamline processes

Collaboration

  • Lead internal content publisher project for merchants
  • Work closely with Client Services to identify partnership opportunities to drive revenue
  • Work closely with US/AUS/EU internal counterparts to support affiliate initiatives across territories

Client management

  • Resolve publisher queries in a timely and professional manor
  • Research global marketplace to establish best approach to client inquiries
  • Manage, track and report business leads using Salesforce
  • Represent Rakuten Affiliate Network at tradeshows and events
  • Run reports to analyse trends, traffic, clicks, transactions, conversions

Technical /functional expertise

  • Previous experience in an online position preferable (publisher services at agency, client or consulting)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office programmes - particularly Excel (intermediate) and PowerPoint
  • Experience in effective Customer Services
  • Web literate (basic concepts of online commerce and advertising)
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies
