What it’s about:

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join Genie Goals, one of the UK’s fastest-growing digital marketing agencies, as a Head of Affiliates (Maternity Cover)

As Head of Affiliates, you will be responsible for the continued growth and leadership of our award-winning affiliate proposition within the agency. We are looking for someone with outstanding, in-depth channel knowledge to lead an established team with their own personal development and client growth. A key focus of this role will be growing our current client base and our presence within the industry. We need someone extremely comfortable with the selling process, to work with our business development team, to champion the channel to prospective clients and get the Genie Goals name in front of target brands. You will need the ability to adapt to different client sizes and requirements, and also be commercially experienced in building out the right service offering. Being comfortable at attending industry events is a must, as is the ability to lead in the delivery of an outstanding client experience. 

This is an exciting opportunity to build on the success to date of an ambitious and growing part of Genie Goals agency proposition. This role should provide the right candidate with the chance to make their mark on a key area within the business. 

We are looking for UK only based worker for this role.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for heading up a team of 5, with direct line management of two senior team members
  • Leading on the strategic direction of the channel within the agency, feeding into wider agency plans and objectives
  • Being a champion for affiliates as a key part of all clients digital activity – both internally and externally
  • Ensuring the channel hits its KPIs 
  • Setting a strategic, best practice approach to client management to feed down to the wider team

Channel growth:

  • Proactively support the new business development funnel for the channel
  • Responsible for building and monitoring client commercials 
  • Looking for opportunities to target prospective affiliate clients and working with the business development team on an approach
  • Continuing to build the agencies presence within the industry at key events and speaking opportunities

Team development:

  • Ensuring direct reports have ongoing development plans and regular feedback
  • Bringing your expert knowledge to the wider team, keeping them up to date with the latest industry developments 
  • Developing team initiatives to foster collaborative knowledge sharing and interaction in a remote-first environment
