Affiliate Account Manager Role:

A Reprise Media Affiliate Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing agency resources to the delivery of high-quality service and digital solutions so that all client needs are met on time, to budget and to the highest standards of service. Reporting into the Performance Account Director, you will also assist him in developing short and long-term strategies for the client. You will be supported by two Affiliate Account Executives and you will be responsible for contributing to their development.


Affiliate Account Manager Responsibilities:

Strategic Affiliate Marketing

Be at the forefront of Affiliate knowledge by keeping up to date with industry news and developments.

The Affiliate Manager shall build an understanding of the client’s business and digital marketing objectives.

Develop an understanding of the target audiences’ attitudes, behaviour and perceptions (with a focus on Affiliates), using a variety of market information and research data.

Leadership & Management

The Affiliate Manager shall lead the day-to-day client relationship, campaign or project development and execution.

Ensure that all client campaigns follow the internal Affiliate process.

The Affiliate Manager shall set up and manage expectations of client and internal teams, especially to ensure Reprise Media has the optimal time scale to deliver quality work and service.

Maintain a full and detailed understanding of all recommendations and proposals.

Use your personal passion and creativity to help develop intelligent, innovative and effective ideas and process improvements for your clients.

Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we’re in; establish a presence in the agency; have a voice in meetings

Excellence in Client Service

Understand individual client needs (on specific projects and beyond) so you can help them be successful in their roles, and to their bosses; ensure clients have the necessary information and materials they need to do their jobs well.

The Affiliate manager shall have a solid understanding of the client’s business, with emphasis on their area of responsibility.

Required Skills

You will have experience within affiliates, being responsible for planning and achieving performance related targets or supporting senior staff in the above.

You will have experience working across a range of many clients over a variety of online sectors.

Understanding of what makes a good/bad merchant program and how a merchant affiliate campaign can be improved.

Understanding of key program stats and why these are important for a merchant's affiliate program.

Understand the advantages and disadvantages of the CPA/CPL model compared to other models such as CPC or CPM.

You will have sufficient knowledge to provide useful advice to merchants on how their programs can be improved.

Proven track record of successful client and team relationship building.

Proven ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with managers and employees, along with working with external suppliers.

Strong client-facing skills: understanding client needs, maintaining relationships, building partnerships.

‘Hands-on’ approach to operations: Plans, assigns and directs work, time, material, people.
