Skimlinks’ Publisher Hub has recently undergone a facelift. The beta version of the content monetisation plugin’s analytics tool now boasts faster speeds, better reporting and additional tools.
Publishers that use Skimlinks’ refreshed analytics utility will benefit from added responsiveness in the reports section. The company states that reports in the new interface now load faster than ever.
The reports themselves have been given a new lick of paint too. The new data aims to help publishers to discover what works well by giving a merchant breakdown, page-level reporting and other detailed feedback.
Expansion in the Pipeline
Publisher Hub has a beta tag because Skimlinks has set its sights on eventually adding more tools. At the moment publishers can make do with being able to toggle Skimlinks and SkimWords on and off, access the URL Shortener, Link Generator, SkimRSS, Search Boxes , the Referral Program, and any available APIs.
There’s also a Merchant Look-Up section where publishers can view commission rates and average conversions for all of Skimlinks’ Preferred Partner merchants and more than 18,000 others.
Head of marketing at Skimlinks, Aaron Weissman, was excited by the Hub’s new features. “We really think it will help publishers hone in on what is working well for them and begin to do a better job optimising their site to earn more revenue,” he said.
