Performance Marketing Guide 2016 is Live

Performance Marketing Guide 2016 is Live

PerformanceIN’s annual exploration of the performance marketing ecosystem is live and available to download for free.

Sponsored by Affiliate Window, this year’s Performance Marketing Guide provides a topical overview and crucial tips for engaging with digital and ROI-driven channels like affiliate marketing, lead generation and paid social.

This year’s resource, the fifth edition, makes room for new inclusions like content marketing, programmatic and proximity marketing with a view to bringing PerformanceIN readers up to speed with the hottest trends in customer acquisition.

Indeed, automation is a hot focus for this year, with the sections for email, display and programmatic all giving nods to the way in which processes for purchasing and serving ads have changed at rapid pace. There is also plenty of coverage of performance’s role in buying at physical stores; a reflection of the ‘pay on results’ concept broadening its horizons and reach.

Speaking to PerformanceIN, Affiliate Window’s UK country manager, Anthony Clements lauded the Guide for its ability to assist in the planning and deployment of integrated campaigns.

“Campaigns are more closely integrated across marketing channels than ever before, and that means a working knowledge outside of your own channel is crucial. This is true whether you work for an advertiser, publisher, agency or marketing technology provider,” he commented.

“It makes the guide a key internal resource for us, and something that we are always pleased to be a part of.”

He went on to urge readers to venture outside of their comfort zone for a better understanding of an advertiser’s performance marketing strategy in 2016.
