Last week (October 15-16) saw thousands of marketers, advertisers and publishers descend to London’s Old Billingsgate for PI LIVE – the global performance marketing event of the year – to celebrate the growth of the industry in 2018. 

Alongside the co-located Influencer Marketing Show, the two-day conference brought together over 70 speakers who delivered inspiring sessions, panel discussions and case studies ranging from the technological advancements in performance marketing and measurable data to the growing debate of transparency and authenticity within influencer marketing.

The show also brought together a number of big brands from the world of digital advertising and fashion, including Snapchat, Adidas, Net-A-Porter, L.K. Bennett and more.

Following its successful debut last year, which saw over 2,100 attendees, PI LIVE once again smashed its target with over 2,500 delegates through the door and over 60 countries represented at the show. The largest demographic represented at the show was advertisers (27%), closely followed by publishers (26%).

Meanwhile, there was a 72% increase in exhibitors with hundreds of affiliate and performance marketing companies on the show floor including PI LIVE headline sponsors Awin, Tradedoubler, and Webgains in addition to TRIBE, Scrunch and Whalar for the Influencer Marketing Show.

That’s not all, here are some noteworthy stats across the two days:

  • 1,868 meetings scheduled in the PI LIVE event app
  • 285,389 page views in the PI LIVE app
  • 392 questions asked on Slido
  • 4,436 coffees served
  • 250,000+ social media impressions

As 2018 comes to a close, it’s time to prepare for 2019 with both PI LIVE and the Influencer Marketing Show returning on October 22-23 so make sure you save the dates.
