Presented in association with Impact Radius, the Awards will showcase exceptional work across the performance marketing space, with a particular emphasis on innovation and achievements helping to spur the industry forward.

With a roster of campaigns delivered on behalf of Deliveroo, Sky, Thomas Cook, adidas, Vodafone, among many others, the shortlist is now available to view here.

Some of the most hotly-contested categories this year include Best Performance Marketing Technology, Best Paid Search and Affiliate Marketing Innovation, a broad batch of categories which hints at diversity of performance marketing as it stands today.

‘Fine margins’

“It’s been fantastic to see the number of truly exceptional entries, with numerous awards so keenly fought that only the smallest of margins separate the winners,” said Leo Harrison, chair of the judging panel tasked with collating this year’s shortlist.

“The overall quality of submissions to this year’s PMAs is the best I’ve seen in my five years on the judging panel,” he added.

Also on the panel – formed of representatives from companies such as TUI Group, Trinity Mirror Solutions, IAB UK and Hotels.com – Deep Crawl’s Jon Myers lauded the “incredible pace” of the industry, while L’Occitane’s Mark Dugdale pointed out the Awards’ ability to “not just recognise talent”, but a wider contribution to “pushing boundaries”.

Cast your votes

Alongside today’s shortlist reveal, the Performance Marketing Awards has now opened voting for the Industry Choice of Partner categories, as well as the newly-introduced voting system for categories Most Effective Agency and Best Performance Marketing Technology. An important change this year, just one vote per company is allowed, aimed to validate the judges’ scores in a quantitative format while adding an extra dimension to choosing the winner.

This year’s Industry Choice accolades span three demographics – Advertiser, Network and Publisher – recognising those within each who were key to driving the success of clients’ campaigns. Place your vote here.

Meanwhile, voting remains open for this year’s Rising Star Award, reserved for an individual who has shown great potential within the early stages of their career.

The voting period for all of these awards will run until April 7, 2017, and you can cast your vote via the Performance Marketing Awards 2017 website.
