INside Events: Affilinet Hosts Travel Blogger Networking Event

Yesterday evening affilinet hosted their first exclusive travel blogger event in association with Traverse Events. The event provided bloggers with the opportunity to meet with travel brands on the affilinet network, discuss collaborative opportunities and insights into affiliate marketing, share knowledge and sign up to the network and its travel affiliate programmes.

Guests were greeted with a glass of bubbly before Rick Leake, Senior Affiliate Development Manager at affilinet welcomed attendees and talked through the running of events for the evening. Bloggers met with the five travel brands in attendance, Thomas Cook, Thomas Cook Airlines, Princess Cruises, Holiday Autos and Sandals to discuss opportunities within the affilinet channel, find out about the programmes and meet their day to day contacts.

Attendees were also able to enter some great competitions including a prize draw for an Autographer Camera for anyone who signed up on the evening, tickets to see Wicked courtesy of Princess Cruises and a £500 voucher courtesy of Thomas Cook.

“We were delighted to host this event in association with Traverse Events. It was great to see so many bloggers in attendance keen to learn more about the travel brands on our network,” said affilinet's marketing manager, Sophie Parry-Billings.

Before leaving, attendees collected their exclusive goody bags, which included a travel amenity kit, universal adapter, lipbalm, travel bottle and a get started guide amongst other goodies.
