Swedish performance marketing group Tradedoubler is looking to capitalise on the boom of e-commerce in Southeast Asia, announcing the launch of a new Singapore office.

The company, which hasn’t been previously present in the region, will be based in the same office as its largest stakeholder, Reworld Media, and the groups will collaborate to maximise their results and databases.

In the last few years, the media company has been a success in the region, setting up a number of online titles, including Be Asia, Marie France Asia and Try and Review.

New opportunities

The expansion is part of Tradedoubler’s strategy aimed at boosting its performance-based solutions across channels and devices.

Commenting on the move, the company’s CEO Matthias Stadelmeyer said he was “excited” about the opportunities in expanding the group’s international performance marketing offering into the developing Southeast Asian market.

Stedelmeyer adds that Tradedoubler is working with a number of existing clients to expand their performance marketing campaigns into Asia, and is already working on building a portfolio of new clients based within the region.

Ambitious plans

Tradedoubler has been broadening its services not only within the realms of expansion but also within new categories. It has recently entered a milestone partnership with a French ad video specialist DynAdmic, widening the range of the services it offers.

Keen to support young businesses and startups, the performance marketing firm also launched business accelerator programme TD Ventures.

Headquartered in Stockholm, with 13 offices spread across Europe, Tradedoubler currently boasts a staff headcount of 400 and has operations within 69 countries.
