Dell is jumping back on the affiliate marketing wagon following three years away from the channel.
The global technology firm will join forces with performance marketing network Affiliate Window to launch an exclusive affiliate programme.
The network was selected by Dell’s choice of digital agency, MediaCom, for its market-leading tech solutions, such as payment on influence and cross-device tracking, which will enable it to achieve results by scaling the programme quickly.
The network operates within various specialist sectors and has plenty of experience in electronics, having collaborated with brands such as Currys and PC World.
“Dell’s launch onto the network is a great progressive approach for the electronics sector,” said Anthony Clements, UK country manager at Affiliate Window.
For the best results, Dell will combine top creative and promotional messaging with Affiliate Window’s knowledge of the market in the affiliate space.
With an eye on developing long-term business in the channel, the key focus of the strategy will be on reach and partnerships. The overarching goal is to raise the profile of Dell’s consumer brand and ensure its affiliate programme is the largest one in electronics.
Daniel Lancioni, head of affiliates at MediaCom, expressed great enthusiasm about bringing Dell Consumer and Dell Outlet to the channel once again.
“With the help of Affiliate Window, we are hoping to bring the programme back to the same levels it was years ago and re-develop the relationships which we used to have with our publishers,” he commented.
