PI: What are some of the programme’s key features?
Hotels.com: In addition to a very active promotional calendar for hotels.com globally, the affiliate programme provides avenues of promotion and reward for partners in cashback, loyalty and content. We work closely with our partners to provide market-leading deals and discounts and back our product offering up with Hotels.com Rewards, our loyalty programme, as well as a price-match guarantee so you’ll always get the best deal.
PI: What resources are available to affiliates that wish to sell on the behalf of Hotels.com?
Hotels.com: We provide a range of resources to our partners including partner tools, widgets and deal feeds to be implemented on their site. We work closely with our account management team at Affiliate Window to ensure that our partners are always up to date on our latest plans and activity, and this opens up opportunities for extra exposure on our partner sites in exchange for commission increases and other avenues of boosting revenue.
PI: Which types of publishers are you actively looking to recruit?
Hotels.com: We have partners from the full spectrum of performance marketing and are always open to forming relationships and working with new affiliates. If you are an affiliate with ambition, a commercial mindset and an active user base we would love to hear from you and see how we can work together in the future.
PI: Typically, what can publishers expect from your programme in the way of commission?
Hotels.com: We offer a very competitive commission structure in the marketplace that is backed up by our strong brand and consumer reach. This in turn drives strong volumes for our partners, so if you are a strong affiliate on the Hotels.com affiliate program, you will be well-rewarded for your efforts.
PI: From a planning perspective, how is 2016 shaping up for the programme?
Hotels.com: A cornerstone of the Hotels.com affiliate program is our forward planning with our partners. Based on the opportunities for exposure we have already placed with our partners, as well as a strong booking period in the early months of the year, we are expecting 2016 to get off to a good start. In addition to this we are always looking at ways to better improve our offering and placement within the affiliate market and hope to surprise our partners with some exciting new tools and features in 2016.
