A US shopper marketing and loyalty platform has launched a new card-linked shopper marketing network.
Boston-based Linkable Networks has unveiled The Linkable Network (TLN); a platform made up of shopper marketing content publishers, mobile shopping applications and banks.
CEO of Linkable Networks, Tom Burgess, said with TLN, retailers, restaurants, grocers, consumer packaged goods (CPGs) and manufacturers can target the demographic they want for in-store and online redemption.
He said geo-targeted campaigns drive sales to specific stores with complete clicks-to-bricks attribution that requires no printed coupons or POS integration.
“Clicks-to-bricks, mobile-to-mortar, pages-to-parking lots, no matter what you call it, is the key to unlocking the true potential of shopper marketing,” Burgess said.
TLN members include Slickdeals, 8coupons, Offers.com and MySavingsMedia.com, among others.
While the initial launch of TLN is mostly comprises online and mobile publishers, the company’s card-linked offers, also known as ‘Linkables’, permits offers in all media types – TV, radio, print, banner, text, video or mobile.
Burgess said the consumer experience is simple – when consumers see a linkable offer, they link it to their credit or debit card and use that card to make a redemptive purchase at the participating store or website.
There is no technical point of sale integration, no need to train store associates and the consumers receive email or text alerts along the path to purchase.
The advertiser chooses what type of value they pass on to the consumer, cashback, points, e-gift and more. Single purchase offers, BOGOF, multi-visit offers or multi-merchant offers provide complete flexibility for any type of campaign or loyalty solution.
CEO of Slickdeals, Josh Meyers, said: “Being part of TLN has allowed us to expand the number of deal offers we list on our site, providing our customers with more offers everyday.
“Card linked offers simplify our customers’ user experience, making it possible for them to quickly redeem deals without needing to print, clip or present coupons – and Linkable Networks provides all the in-store tracking data.”
