New affiliate “underdog” Boom25.com is taking on cashback giants by offering full refunds to its online consumers.

Following a successful first month which saw 450 retailers partner with the start-up, the newly-founded site makes the bold promise to return the full cost of every 25th sale to the customer via PayPal, regardless of value.

Boom25 aims to become the go-to affiliate site for retailers focusing on younger demographics and audiences keen to “win big” rather than save smaller amounts of cash through traditional cashback sites. The site’s biggest winner to date has been refunded £3,670 for their shop with Expedia, while it plans to refund £1 million in sales by the end of year one.

The site also offers regular promotional giveaways, such as Amazon gift vouchers, and ‘happy hour’ promotions for subscribers where every fifth shopper can get full refund on their shopping.

Launched by Zachi Zach and Giora Mandel, who has previously founded a successful travel comparison site in Israel, and backed by private investors, the site is expected to “disrupt the cashback industry” to attract younger audiences.

With clients already including the likes of ASOS, Expedia and M&S, Boom25 is a novel addition to the affiliate cashback landscape, especially with voucher code sites losing popularity among consumers owed to offers being expired or available to any consumer directly on the retailer’s site.

“Boom25 offers highest chance of winning big cash refunds than any other site in the industry, with zero extra cost to the consumer,” Mandel commented; “We’re really excited for the future of Boom25 and have some ambitious plans for the future.”
