PerformanceIN Live is set to descend on London’s Old Billingsgate this October 24 – 25, with 2,500 attendees coming together for an international celebration of all forms of measurable marketing.

With five keynotes, a keynote stage, two main conference tracks, the Marin Software Dome Stage, and a packed exhibition hall, it’s no easy task to plan your time across the two days.

Here are our top tips to make sure you get the most out of your time at the event.

Review the agenda before you go

Want to know what’s in store? View the full agenda line up and make sure you get planning and have made a note of those not to be missed sessions. Perhaps set a goal for what you’d like to learn and use the agenda to help devise a plan specifically tailored to your goal. From Affiliate Marketing, Social, Programmatic, AI, Influencer Marketing and Mobile, we’ve got you covered.

Plan your time using the event app

The official event app brought to you by Performance Horizon will give attendees the best way to get connected before and during PI LIVE. You’ll be able to pre-book your sessions and add them to your personalised agenda, as well as access to further information on the exhibitors and networking opportunities to see where your time is best spent.

Other features include live in-session, crowdsourced questions, the chance to connect with fellow attendees before the event has even started to chat and onsite meetings, plus a lot more. Be sure to get involved in the discussion! Details on how to download the app will be released in the next couple of weeks.

Get networking

With 2,500 attendees on-site it can be hard to know where to start meeting people. Our specially selected networking events are there to help you connect with the right people.

It all kicks off with the International Performance Marketing Awards held on Monday night at the prestigious Hilton London Bankside. As an official networking event of the show, make sure you secure your seat and celebrate performance marketing achievements on a global scale.

The bustling exhibition floor also plays host to two feature bars – the Prosecco Lounge and Beer Garden hosted by Rakuten Marketing and Webgains respectively. These bars will provide a perfect zone for relaxing and networking over a drink or two, and are sure to be prime areas to make new connections and reconnect with old contacts.

And the fun doesn’t stop in the evening, as after a long first day you can let your hair down and party with your new contacts at our official after-party. Tickets for this event will only be available via our party sponsors – stay tuned for further details.

Finally, don’t forget to let other people know you’re going to be there. Get yourself seen on Twitter with the hashtag #PILIVE and click attending on the Facebook event.

After the show

You’ll have gained lots of new information and inspiration, and the most important thing you can do with these new found resources is to share them with your colleagues. Make sure you set aside some time to pass on what you’ve learned.

You’ll be reconnecting with old contacts and hopefully collecting new business cards – make sure you do something with them after the show! Within a week of attending, it’s best practice to make a follow-up and scheduling in a phone call or face-to-face meeting with those contacts you want to foster.

We hope this tips will help you to make the most of your time on site.
