Global digital marketing agency Croud has appointed Emil Bielski, former chief strategy officer at iProspect, as UK managing director. The appointment follows the agency’s recent £30 million investment deal with LDC, the private equity arm of Lloyds Banking Group.

S4Capital’s MightyHive has hired commercial sales expert Toby McAra as the head of enterprise sales, EMEA. McAra will be responsible for helping enterprise clients understand the importance of a data-centric approach, and supporting them in defining and executing sophisticated data strategies.

Control v. Exposed (CvE), the new agency model comprising media, consultancy and technology, has appointment of Laura Fordham as director, business strategy and development. Fordham will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the agency.

Nextdoor has announced the appointment of Heidi Andersen as head of revenue who will oversee the global sales team and revenue streams. Anderson joins Nextdoor from LinkedIn where, as VP of global sales, she built the global Online Sales Organisation under LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions division in North America, Europe and Asia.

Elsewhere, performance marketing agency, Journey Further, has appointed Deepa Shah, former CFO at Publicis Sapient and Omnicom-owned Hall & Partners, to the company’s advisory board as a non-executive director to support the firm’s ambitious growth plans.

FreeWheel appointment of Xavier Llerena as senior director, DSP Partnerships. In his new role, he will manage buyer-side relationships, set the vision for DSP strategy, and oversee FreeWheel’s DSP partnerships team across Europe.

Advanced advertising platform IPONWEB has announced the appointment of Parag Vohra as VP of principal partnerships for its Global Solutions Group. Based in New York, Vohra will develop strategies to acquire, grow and retain IPONWEB’s brand, agency and publisher clients – the principal parties in the advertising value chain.

Following its launch last month, Magnite has announced the appointments of James Brown (head of international), Steve Wing (head of EMEA) and Mark Giblin (senior director).

Digital Envoy, meanwhile, has appointed Jerrod Stoller as its new president. Current president and CEO Bill Calpin has stepped back from his role and has been named Chairman of the Board. Co-founder and executive vice president Rob Friedman assumes a dual role with the addition of the vice-chairman title.   

Channel Factory, the global technology and data YouTube brand suitability platform, has recruited two strategic additions to its team, Rob Blake (country manager, UK) and Spencer Janis (head of US holding company partnerships).

Natalia Dykyj has joined SparkPost as VP and head of marketing to spearhead global strategy for corporate, customer, product and partner marketing, ultimately responsible for helping drive profitable growth for the organisation.

Meanwhile, in the US, Rakuten Advertising has hired Macy’s alumni Mike Chin and Ceres Cueva as SVP of client services North America and VP of publisher partnerships North America, respectively, to advance the company’s strategic services and increase partner and client collaboration.

Workfront’s head of global business development, Paige Erickson, has been appointed the managing director of Workfront’s operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Digital marketing agency POLARIS has appointed George Gault as its new commercial director to accelerate the international expansion of its marketing consultancy & tech services.

Augmented Reality technology company Blippar has announced the appointments of Steve Doyle as UK sales director and Emma Witkowski as VP sales, North America to further expand its senior leadership team and accelerate the company’s global growth strategy. 

Impact recently opened their first office in Germany along with the appointment of Felix Schmidt as country manager for the DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Also, following its recent investment led by Techstart VenturesAdInMo, the in-game advertising platform, has recruited two further investors Preston Rabl (former co-founder of WPP) and Ana Stewart to its board of directors. 

Lastly, MediaMath has announced the addition of industry veterans to its leadership team and Board of Directors. Former Nielsen executive and global leader, Eleni Nicholas, joins as the company’s first chief client officer, and the MediaMath Board welcomes new member Allie Kline, former Verizon Media CMO.
