In hugely exciting news for CJ, Shatay Trigère has joined the company in a new role as Chief Marketing Officer, bringing with her over 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and technology. With a history working in leadership roles that have spanned the marketing mix, Shatay derives joy and fulfilment in bringing to life great leaps in technology while humanising how they meet users’ hearts, minds, and hands. It’s this keen grasp of the convergence of technology and its influence on those who interact with it that she’ll put to good use at CJ.

Buzzfeed’s Becca Maier announced an exciting promotion. She has taken on the role of VP, Commerce Operations and Growth, following her previous role as Senior Director, HuffPost and International Commerce. She is now responsible for driving growth and operational efficiency across BuzzFeed Inc.’s Global Commerce Business while leading the acceleration of international and HuffPost US’s commerce businesses.

Tumblr has become the first social platform to leverage Verity™, the only contextual solution with MRC content-level accreditation for contextual analysis, brand safety and suitability. In addition to the partnership to enhance Tumblr’s brand safety and contextual targeting capabilities, Tumblr will now also be a media partner for GumGum, joining the contextual leader’s network of over 30,000 publishers and giving GumGum’s clients access to Tumblr’s unique inventory.

Journey Further has appointed Duncan Smith, former US President and Chief Media Officer at iProspect, as its new US CEO. Duncan will be responsible for the North American market and will lead the agency’s growth ambitions. He will be working closely with Global CEO, Robin Skidmore, (who will be moving Stateside) to challenge the market and work collaboratively to deliver on the agency’s vision of ‘creating the performance brands of tomorrow’.

Over at impact.com, Margaux Delplace has been appointed as Customer Success Manager, moving on from Silverbean, where she worked as Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager. Margaux brings with her seven years of experience, and it will be exciting to see, considering her specialism in affiliates and partnerships.

Emily Mennie has started a new role at the HEINEKEN Company, becoming the new Programmatic Media Manager. Emily is a passionate marketer, and says herself that she is  fueled by a desire to understand human behaviour through the analysis of data, so we’re looking forward to seeing how she progresses in this new role!

VistaPrint has selected Neo Media World as its new partner to modernise its global affiliate programme. VistaPrint will, for the first time, unify its affiliate programme with one agency partner. Neo’s global expertise will help VistaPrint expand its affiliate programme and establish a more strategic approach across the globe and the consumer journey.

And last but certainly not least, Reprise has announced that it has appointed Jessica Chapplow as the organisation’s Managing Partner, Head of Commerce. Jessica will lead Reprise’s e-commerce efforts across the UK and Ireland, distilling Reprise’s proposition and developing new services and operational models to accelerate growth in the e-commerce space.
