Ways of Getting Involved with PMI: London’s Interactive Edge

PMI: London 2015 is mere hours from rolling into the capital, and we at PerformanceIN will be there to catch every highlight.

From video interviews with speakers to session updates via our live blog, our reporters will be keeping active in order to bring you – the reader – a bird’s-eye view of proceedings from around the Westminster Park Plaza between October 29 – 30.

But before that, we want to make sure that every chance to connect with the event, its content and attendees has been explained in full. Here is how you can get involved with the buzz of this year’s gathering of performance marketing pros: the biggest to date.

Follow

Aside from checking for PMI-related articles on the main site, PerformanceIN’s Twitter and Facebook pages will keep you up to date with all happenings in real time.

Attendees and followers should also be aware that many of the live posting from sessions will be conducted via the reporter accounts here and here, as well as on the live blog; enjoying a second appearance after its success at PMI: Europe earlier this year.

If you’re at the event or wish to get involved with what’s being said, be sure to follow the social accounts, check in with the live blog and pledge your thoughts via the #PMILDN hashtag. We’ll be sharing the best Tweets and Instagram posts to feature this, meaning there’s no better way of getting in amongst the conversation.

Subscribe

One of our most active sources of PMI content this year will come from short videos uploaded to the PerformanceIN YouTube account, later published across our social platforms and the live blog.

We’ll be talking to speakers and attendees as well as Bootcamp and 101 session hosts in order to bring their thoughts out of the hall and onto the world wide web, helping people outside the conference keep up to date with some of the most talked about matters.

Hitting the subscribe button will ensure you don’t miss a single video when it’s uploaded.

Engage

Lastly, attendees of the conference will note the presence of new features in the official event app. It’s here that you can answer polls to redeem points, which – for the most-active app users – could result in prizes at a later stage.

Polls will appear at specific times in the day, relative to the sessions taking place on Capture, Cultivate and Create, so it’s always worth checking for one whenever you’re perusing the app.

Sporting a Facebook-esque feel, the programme also allows you to post updates and interact with posts from other members, whether through a like or comment. But if you’re just looking to find out what’s coming up, a review of the agenda tab will bring up the full list of sessions and speakers from over the two days,

For more information on the features of the app, sponsored by Optimise and available across iOS, Android and as a web-based title, please check our video tutorial from PMI founder Matthew Wood.
