Affiliate Network Closes & Clients Transfer to Indian Co

RocketCPA Media will shut down its affiliate network and transfer clients to Indian company vCommission.

Mauritius-based Rocket, which offers affiliate marketing services through its network of advertisers and publishers, focused on Asian traffic from the likes of Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and India.

“They had many e-commerce and gaming clients which are speculated to contribute about 80% of the company’s revenues,” a vCommission spokesman said.

“The company decided to completely shift focus to something which has higher profitability so they first shut off their advertiser registration and now have shut down the network altogether.”

It was only last month that a major Japanese affiliate marketing company Adways, which is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, acquired a 13.8% of VC Internet Media –  which operates affiliate advertising network vCommission.

VCommission, which is India’s first international affiliate network, had been helping RocketCPA scoop new clients from US and UK markets and with vCommission’s recent collaboration with Adways, the business is expected to grow at a faster pace.

“This will help vCommision to take up new challenges and accomplish its vision to lead the digital space through first in innovation, top class user experience, in-depth industry knowledge and customised solutions,” a spokesman added.
