Real-Time Bidding

Real-time bidding (RTB) takes place where online ad impressions are bought or sold through auctions that takes place during the time a webpage takes to load. Auctions are often facilitated by supply-side or demand-side platforms to help advertisers choose which ad impressions to purchase and how much to bid on them based on how they appear on sites and how user behaviour towards them. If advertisers wanted to reach sport fans, for instance, they would bid for ad space on a sports-related website.
