Button, the leading mobile commerce technology company,  are announcing their strategic partnership with Branch, the leading cross-platform solution for linking and measurement, which will enable brands visibility into app traffic, optimised by Button in their Branch dashboards.

The strategic partnership brings mobile affiliate traffic into the marketing fold, enabling brands to holistically understand their spend across all marketing channels.

As is obvious from the previous months, the pandemic has accelerated the ongoing shift towards online shopping. E-commerce sales in the USA increased 31.2% in October and 32.4% in November of last year according to the U.S. Department of Commerce, and according to Salesforce statistics, global digital sales also grew 45% year over year, reaching $181 million from December 1 to 14 2020.

An app strategy based on a CPA model coupled with a thorough measurement solution is a building block to brand’s mobile growth, in order to leverage the surge in mobile commerce to grow a loyal customer base – now more than ever.

What does this mean for consumers?

The new integration means mutual customers of Button and Branch, such as Sam’s Club and Zulily, will be able to access all of their attribution data in one tool. Marketers will be able to analyse Button mobile performance data alongside other mobile touchpoints in a single view within their Branch dashboards, rather than looking at each channel in a silo.

Due to this, brands will be able to gain a thorough understanding of the efficiency and performance of the affiliate channel, alongside all other channels of traffic, enabling them to optimise for conversions.

CEO and Co-Founder of Button, Michael Jaconi said: “Button’s partnership with Branch marks the next chapter for mobile marketers looking to get smarter with their spend and double down on their app install strategies.

“We’re excited to offer our mutual customers a better understanding of their spend holistically across all marketing channels, helping them gain the insights to optimize, personalize, and unlock the true potential of the affiliate channel as part of their growth strategies—the beginning of a new era in mobile marketing.”

“Our integration with Button ensures marketers have full visibility into their affiliate marketing campaigns,” said Eric Stein, EVP & GM at Branch. “Through our partnership, we’re excited to power our mutual customers with insights built on top of the most accurate data while delivering seamless cross-platform experiences that are sure to delight users.”

Rick Ton, Sr. Director of Marketing at Sam’s Club, said: “Button’s integration with Branch gives us a holistic understanding of our mobile affiliate performance to continue driving Sam’s Club’s growth and offering our members frictionless shopping experiences.”
