The 14th edition of the Performance Marketing Awards (PMAs) was due to take place on April 28 at the iconic Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, with three-courses, Champagne flowing, a comedian host, and everyone dressed up to the glamour. Although there wasn’t a physical event, we still celebrated in style with our inaugural virtual ceremony which took place today (August 25).

We encouraged those celebrating at home or with their teams to get in on the action, dressing up in suits/dresses and raising a glass of bubbly to celebrate the advancement of the performance marketing industry and the outstanding campaigns that have delivered measurable results in the UK during the 2019/20 calendar year.

“Team creativity shone through”

This year’s PMAs featured a total of 28 categories with a record number of award entries submitted before our amazing judging panel of industry experts debated at length the objectives, strategy, execution and results of each entry before deciding upon the final shortlisted companies competing for the top prizes.

Founder Matthew Wood, who kicked things off with a welcome speech, commented:

“At difficult times like this our industry, and importantly… your teams…. can rise to the challenge as digital transformations accelerate, new customers appear and new models emerge,”

“I’m glad that last year we started to place greater emphasis on the Human Touch in the judging criteria and we’ve seen some fantastic examples of collaborative work… where team creativity has shone through, data has been shared and where relationships have driven further marginal gains.”

This year’s PMAs was in association with Piggy. A huge thank you to all our sponsors and the worthy winners.
