Additionally, entries that shine a light on innovation help propel the industry forward and allow us to really push boundaries within our channel. RG: Winning Best Agency was a tremendous honor. We strive to provide the highest quality service to our clients and partners across the world and for others to recognize that effort means a lot to our team.
It is truly a testament to our people, their knowledge and their dedication to building strong, long term relationships within the industry.
How did it feel to know that the industry helped support you to get this award?
RG: To receive recognition from our peers, clients, partners and some of the brightest minds in the industry is a special experience.
We are dedicated to ensuring that this channel is recognized as an important component of the marketing mix. Knowing that the performance marketing community supports us in that effort is a sign of the bright future of this industry.
How has team collaboration been vital to your brand’s success?
RG: At AP, teamwork and collaboration is a vital component to our success. One of our three core values is Embrace Relationships and we try to live that value in everything that we do both within our team and across the indsutry.
We know that by simultaneously pushing one another, as well as being a source of support for our coworkers, we are able to increase the level of service we provide.
What’s changed for your company since winning the award?
RG: Since being named Best Agency, we have continued to expand our global footprint and win significant new global business. The recognition of the IPMA brand helps build credibility with both clients and prospects.
As we all navigate these uncertain times, having the IPMA Best Agency award helps us to further validate performance marketing as a critical channel for brands.
What’s your take on the IPMAs as a necessary vehicle for driving the performance marketing industry forward on a global scale?
RG: In order to drive the industry forward, education must be done on a global scale. That is where the IPMAs shine. Spreading awareness of performance marketing campaigns that showcase impactful results through innovative strategies highlight the value of the channel to those working to enhance or grasp it.
It is also important that the IPMA awards are judged by an independent panel with clear criteria, too often industry awards are given for business loyalty or without the input of key stakeholders.
