Having served as client services director for vouchercloud/Groupon Reach Network for over four years, Chris Johnson has now commenced his new role as director of operations for Smarter Click as he supports the platform’s growth over the coming months.

Meanwhile, over at Soreto, Nicole Clapauch Froes has joined from Kelkoo to establish the referral marketing platform in international markets as an international partnerships manager. In addition, and fresh from her inclusion in the PerformanceIn 50 list, Fatme Bostandzhieva has joined from TradeDoubler to become UK partnerships manager.

Rhythm One has appointed Kumaran Sambandam to VP of international demand partnerships to oversee the programmatic growth of RhythmOne’s SSP.

Global retail and innovation agency Outform has added more strategic firepower to its EMEA senior team with the appointments of Keith Fleet (EMEA operations director) Jocelyn Morris (EMEA finance director) and Sorana Duca (EMEA marketing and communications manager).

Award-winning digital agency NMPi has recruited Ed Camargo as managing director US, operating out of the agency’s New York office.

Bazaarvoice has appointed Keith Nealon as CEO with Joe Davis transitioning to operatering executive. In his new role, Nealon will draw on over twenty years of experience with high-growth technology companies to help scale Bazaarvoice’s leadership position into new markets and areas of innovation.

Stephen Maher, CEO of MBA, has been named as the new Chair of the DMA Board, with VerveIQ founder & MD Pipa Unsworth named as Deputy Chair. The pair are also joined by two newly elected additions to the DMA Board in Cordell Burke, creative managing partner at Up There, Everywhere, and Firas Khnaisser, head of decisioning at Standard Life.

Tag has confirmed the appointment of Kevan Thorn as chief strategy officer. Reporting to David Kassler, Tag CEO, and working alongside the Regional CEOs, Kevan joins as Tag enters the decade as the leading independent creative production company.

Bristol-based digital marketing agency Loom Digital has welcomed Laurence Matone, who has two years’ experience in the marcomms, digital and SEO sectors working on accounts including Siemens, Rangemaster and Neff, as their new SEO executive.

The IAB, the industry body for digital advertising, has hired Elizabeth Lane in the newly created role of head of research and measurement and Dominic Tillson as head of industry relationships and initiatives.

Multi-award-winning e-commerce agency Bring Digital has announced Jonathan Fisher as their new paid media director, joining its senior management team to help support the unprecedented growth the business achieved in 2019.

After taking a brief pause from his duties, Doug Scott has returned as CEO of tech agency shopping specialists Redbrain as the company pushes its 2020 campaign in full force.

Meanwhile, Publicis Media has announced the appointment of Mandy Rayment as director of communications for the UK. In her role, Rayment will be responsible for leading all internal and external communications for Publicis Media and its agencies, which includes Digitas, Performics, Spark Foundry, Starcom and Zenith.

Croud has recruited former iProspect performance and operations director, Andy Siviter to the new role of director of e-commerce, in the wake of recent investment for the business.

Spark Foundry, the Publicis Media agency that brings heat to brands, has announced the hire of Oliver Wood as its head of performance.   

Ad tech firm MediaMath has recruited Milena Alberti-Perez as chief financial officer. Alberti-Perez joined the MediaMath on January 21 and will be based in New York reporting to president, Konrad Gerszke.

Influencer has announced the appointment of Danny Crutchley as creative strategist. Crutchley will oversee Influencer’s creative team and will work closely with Influencer CEO Ben Jeffries, CVO Caspar Lee and head of client services Nik Speller.

Adform has appointed Michael Holmberg Andersen as chief development officer, based in Copenhagen. He comes from a position as CTO in the Business Intelligence company Targit.

Performance marketing agency, Journey Further has announced that Paul Frampton, president of CvE and formerly CEO of Havas Group; and Peter Dolukhanov, CEO of Decoded Consulting and former Group CTO of Karmarama, have joined the company’s advisory board to help strategically grow the business. 

Lastly, William Hamer-Jones has joined Cadreon (part of IPG) as VP of partnerships, having served as Global Director or Partnership development at Impact. Under his new role, Hamer-Jones will be building out the new partnerships team & division for the group.
