Digital marketing platform Tradedoubler recently announced the appointment of Derek Grant to country manager. Having previously been held the role of group sales director at Webgains, Grant will be responsible for leading Tradedoubler´s business and go-to-market strategy in the UK and in Ireland.

Elsewhere, GlobalWebIndex has confirmed the appointment of James Scott to the newly created position of chief commercial officer, where he will champion the growth and scalability of the business.

Independent Digital News and Media Limited has appointed John Paton as chairman. Paton joins from The Guardian Media Group PLC, where he served as director for the past six years, as well as two years as chairman of theguardian.org – the US-based charity which raises funds for independent and investigative journalism for The Guardian and its editorial partners.

B2B customer experience marketing agency Centerline Digital has recruited Jerry Tomaiolo as its executive VP of digital media. Joining the team in their Raleigh headquarters, Tomaiolo will be charged with optimizing the company’s digital media strategies at scale by incorporating machine learning and analytics into the creative process.

Meanwhile, Goodway Group has created a new Data Science and Analytics division that will work across Goodway’s departments to leverage advanced analytics and machine learning for its clients. Spearheading the new division are new hires Lluis Canet, VP of data science and analytics, and Benjamin Diesbach, lead data insights analyst. 

Digital marketing agency Coast Digital has added five new members to its team in response to the company’s 22% year-on-year increase in turnover and 16% in fee income over the past year. Joining the award-winning agency are Sarah Tanner (business relationship manager), Catherine Holmgren (UX consultant), Hollie Beeson (PPC specialist), Sam Bonner (SEO specialist) and Robert Philips (SEO specialist).

Emma Newman, formerly VP UK of PubMatic, has been promoted to the position of chief revenue officer (CRO) for EMEA. In her new role, she will be tasked with continuing to build the European region, working with the local teams to take advantage of the growth opportunities in current and emerging markets.

AI-driven personalisation platform Boxever has announced the appointment of Jon Williams as CRO. Williams will serve as the company’s first CRO and joins at a time of unprecedented growth.

Meanwhile, over in Singapore, the Dentsu Aegis Network has promoted Ashish Bhasin from CEO of DAN Greater South to the newly created role of chief executive, APAC based out of Singapore. Bhasin joins the DAN global executive team and will report to Takaki Hibino, executive chairman, DAN APAC. 

Elsewhere, Encore Digital Media has welcomed Marc Mendoza to the company as non-executive chairman. Mendoza brings a wealth of business and media industry experience to the role, where he will work with the board on the next phase of the company’s growth.

Performance marketing agency Journey Further has recruited Sam Renfrew and Magnolia Carvajal to its Conversion team. Renfrew and Carvajal join as lead optimisation developer and conversion specialist respectively and bring with them over nine years’ client-side and agency CRO experience from companies including Asda and Travelopia. 

RTB House has selected Aleksander Baryś as its chief financial officer and as a board member starting as of September. In his new role, Baryś will oversee financial operations, manage global investor relations, advise and lead M&A activities and provide strategic guidance to ensure that RTB House continues forward with its fast financial growth and worldwide market expansion.

Over to Partnerize, the company has announced the appointment of Samantha Purcell as marketing manager, EMEA. Purcell joins Partnerize after three years at Employee Rewards and Recognition Company O.C. Tanner, and will head up all Partnerize marketing efforts across the UK, EU, and the Middle East.

Meanwhile, RevLifter has recently hired Alasdair Glen as its customer success director. Joining us from The Hut Group, Alasdair brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the affiliate sector, previously head of affiliates and partnership working across health and beauty, gifting and entertainment we’re thrilled to have him on the team.

Jean-Philippe Durrios has joined leading consumer insights platform DISQO as CFO and COO respectively. He will partner with the executive leadership team in Los Angeles to spearhead Disqo’s trajectory of rapid and sustainable growth in the coming years.

Brad Wilson, a seasoned marketing executive who has helped build the brands of LendingTree, Travelocity and other companies, has been named EVP of performance marketing for Disney+ and ESPN+. Within the media company’s Direct-to-Consumer and International unit respectively, Wilson will report to Michael Paull, president of Disney Streaming Services.

Furthermore, Impact has confirmed the appointment of Joo Mi Kim as CFO. As well as a member of the executive team, Kim will lead financial planning and analysis, accounting, global clearinghouse, human resources, legal, facilities as well as investor and board relations. She will drive the success of Impact’s ability to plan, track the execution of and account for global business operations.

Influencer marketing platform CreatorIQ has announced the appointment of Kam Zulawski as its new managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Zulawski will be responsible for EMEA growth and go-to-market efforts, including building on the recent $12 million investment from TVC Capital and Unilever Ventures in the company’s Enterprise Creator Cloud.

Elsewhere, Chris Tee joins has joined creative technology company Appetite Creative as UK commercial lead with a remit to manage all UK Business Development Partnerships for publishers, agencies and ad tech/martech companies.

Lastly, voice technology company, Say It Now, has appointed Brian Fitzpatrick to the role of chairman as it looks to expand its business and seek further funding. Fitzpatrick has been involved in the development of digital media for nearly 25 years and is widely considered an industry veteran, expertise that sees him contribute to several emerging technology start-ups as a board member.
