Alibaba Expands Partnership With Awin to Launch Alibaba.com Affiliate Program

Alibaba Group is expanding its partnership with Awin to launch the Alibaba.com affiliate program.

The Alibaba Group has expanded its partnership with global affiliate network Awin to launch Alibaba.com’s affiliate program, which is available in the UK, US, EU, LATAM and APAC. Alibaba.com is the world’s largest global trade marketplace and offers more than 360 million products across a range of categories.

The Alibaba Group services include AliExpress, Alipay, Alibaba Cloud and more. Alibaba.com is the group’s second brand to launch its affiliate program with Awin, with AliExpress being the first program to have launched. Both programs are overseen by a dedicated global account manager who will be responsible for coordinating all of the regions. Alibaba’s new global programs will allow publishers to take advantage of the rise of China’s largest e-commerce platform. 

“Together with AliExpress, these exciting new retailers allow consumers and businesses to tap into a vast array of goods, often directly from the manufacturer. Awin is proud to be partnering with Alibaba to grow its international presence across the globe,” said David James, global account management director at Awin.

Affiliate is one of the most important channels when it comes to big sale promotions for Alibaba.com, which includes its #SuperSeptember month-long sale and Singles’ Day event in November. Participating publishers will receive generous commission rates.

“As the major network player and with a great reputation in the industry, we are very excited to have Awin on board. We have seen a great conversion rate so far, so we believe there is huge potential for our partnership. Awin has an extensive publisher portfolio across all verticals, which can help us explore new opportunities,” commented Heaven Li, senior manager, traffic management at Alibaba Group.
