Deepak Tailor, the founder of LatestFreeStuff.co.uk and LatestDeals.co.uk, has acquired FreeStuff.co.uk for an undisclosed fee to form one of the UK’s largest online money-saving communities.

FreeStuff.co.uk is one of the first freebie websites to take off in the UK, offering free samples, trials, prizes and coupons on the latest deals from hundreds of brands. Tailor founded both LatestFreeStuff and LatestDeals in 2016 and now has 1.5 million registered members and over 2 million visitors every month. Recent valuations put the combined companies at over £15 million.

“I am delighted to now be a part of the community at FreeStuff.co.uk. It was one of the first freebie websites in the UK and I have always had a nostalgic soft spot for it. Together, we’re going to do some incredible things in our journey to be the UK’s biggest money saving community,” said Tailor.

When asked what it means from an affiliate perspective, Tailor added: “I am lucky to be working with the UK’s biggest brands already. Now, with an even bigger community, I can serve them better, offering both better deals for my users and a larger audience for brands.”

Tailor made headlines in 2016 when he went on BBC’s Dragon’s Den, getting three offers from the dragons, including accepting an offer of investment from Deborah Meaden. He has since grown LatestFreeStuff and LatestDeals to become two of the largest affiliate publishers in the country.

“This year, I think we drove over £20 million in affiliate sales. Best of all, without spending on advertising. If you focus on giving the best deals and freebies to consumers, they’ll come back,” said Tailor.
