Performance Marketing Software Provider CAKE Acquired by Constellation

The acquisition comes after an exceptional period of growth and product innovation from CAKE. The deal now makes them the largest performance marketing software vendor.

Global performance marketing software provider CAKE has been acquired by Constellation Software Inc. - a $20-billion international provider of market-leading software and services - it has been announced today (June 26). 

The terms of the deal have not been outlined but the acquisition will now solidify CAKE’s innovation in performance marketing software and solutions for affiliate marketing as well as lead generation and multi-channel marketing. The investment also reinforces the firm’s commitment to superior customer support, providing performance marketers, advertisers and publishers with new opportunities to increase revenue.

The company currently has over 125,000 customers in more than 100 countries and a proven track record of solid growth in addition to establishing a broad portfolio of software businesses to provide its customers and shareholders with exceptional returns.

The acquisition comes after an exceptional period of growth and product innovation from CAKE. The company plans to leverage the investment by Constellation to build out its product roadmap and go-to-market execution including CAKE’s infrastructure, support mechanisms and engineering.
