The Turn the Talk Workshop will be an afternoon meetup, held at The Trampery Old Street. The event will feature a range of speakers and breakout sessions, all focussed on discussing public speaking.
Based on the report’s research a number of areas were identified where respondents cited a desire to improve the public speaking opportunities in performance marketing. This centred around more opportunity, more support and more frequent forums to practice.
Amongst the speakers on the day, attendees will be able to hear from Chris Grimes, communication skills, performance coach and co-founder of Second Curve and Jo Hind, co-founder of Women’s career and leadership consultancy, Birdsoup.
A panel session, featuring some of the industry’s most known faces including Simon Bird, Caroline Mulvihill and Kevin Edwards will take to the stage, discussing how they manage public speaking commitments. The Q&A discussions also consider whether the performance marketing industry has put up barriers and fails to support new voices wanting to be heard.
The event is free to attend with thanks to the support of Affiliate Summit, Awin, PI LIVE, Rakuten Marketing, Revlifter, TopCashback and Webgains, all of which have pledged their belief in the mission of Turn the Talk.
