Off the back of a successful trading period in the US and fresh from winning three awards at this year’s Performance Marketing Awards, technology publisher RevLifter has appointed Jim Harriman as general manager of North America.
Joining the company from CJ Affiliate, Harriman has extensive knowledge of the affiliate marketing industry and managing the successful growth of new partnerships. Prior to this, Harriman worked as an advertiser for Lenovo and is no stranger to high-pressure situations, starting his career in The United States Air Force.
Harriman will be responsible for driving business growth in the North America region, continuing to lead the successful implementation of AI-powered personalisation solutions for US-based retailers. As part of his role, he will oversee the expansion of RevLifter’s core product offerings in the US RevPage, RevConvert and RevReward to lead the growth of the North American market.
Harriman’s experience and expertise in the e-commerce sector will be of great value to RevLifter, as it continues to partner with online retailers worldwide delivering solutions for one-to-one personalisation. Adding value for both customers and partners alike.
Now part of RevLifter, we asked Harriman about the new role as he gets acquainted with his colleagues.
What excites you most about joining RevLifter?
Jim Harriman: The people at RevLifter are top-notch! RevLifter is at an exciting stage, we have an incredibly strong product that has been tremendously successful in EMEA and APAC markets and I’m excited to build upon this success in the US.
I am joining a super passionate team, learning from extremely talented individuals. For me, being a part of a technology company that’s delivering a very exciting and innovative solution is probably the most exciting part of working for RevLifter.
Where do you see the industry headed in future?
JM: Wherever WE take it – real-time personalisation is going to quickly become the norm. How, where, and to what degree is to be determined and will vary by industry. RevLifter is uniquely positioned to leverage personalisation in an appropriate, consistent, and effective way that will prove to be beneficial to consumers and drive a return on investment for businesses that embrace this new technology.
What is your focus in the first 90 days?
JM: Initially, my focus will be to meet with partners, brands, networks, and agencies so I can understand every aspect of their respective business’ and goals. At the same time, I’ll be sharing with the market what RevLifter is all about and the value we deliver. We need to ensure we have a clearly defined yet flexible road map with specific milestones along the way to our objective in order to gain steam in the US market. With that in mind, a big focus in the first 90 days will, of course, be driving new business and rapidly expanding the US market as we continue to disrupt this space.
