Rakuten Marketing’s DealMaker Event (formerly Symposium) is set to make it’s UK introduction on April 3 at The Brewery in East London, bringing performance marketers together for an action-packed day on insights and industry developments to mark the Spring season.

The all-day event will embody a number of keynote sessions and workshops where attendees can network with current and future business partners in building their online initiatives and forming new business relationships. 

Rakuten Marketing VP of client success, Nicholas Fletcher and Douglas Ker, CEO of Meli Melo will be leading the first keynote of the day as they demonstrate how a unified, data-driven view across multiple marketing channels will support in implementing an intelligent strategy. Meanwhile, Stylus global head of retail Katie Baron and Rakuten Marketing senior director of marketing Abi Jacks will be putting six e-commerce engagement trends in the presentation spotlight, running through how each trend is harnessing the way consumers are interacting with technology today. 

Another highlight not to be missed is the publisher spotlight sessions, taking place just after the two keynotes. The likes of Honey, Yieldify, Smarterclick, Mapp Digital and Groupon Reach Network will be delivering quick-fire presentations to help those in attendance to diversity and grow their affiliate programmes. Golden Link Awards

A mainstay in the US and APAC for over 10 years, Rakuten Marketing is bringing their Gold Link Awards to the UK for the very first time at DealMaker London. The awards ceremony, which will take place in the final half of the event, will celebrate and recognise industry-leading advertisers, publishers and agencies within the Rakuten Marketing UK Network.

Covering a wide range of performance channels, there will be a total of eight awards up for grabs, including Best Integrated Marketing Campaign, Best International Strategy and Best Affiliate Campaign of the Year, in addition to the network’s Choice of Advertiser and Publisher as voted by the public.
