Read on to find out their top tips…

1. Download the official event app

The official PI LIVE event app is available to download so you can sign in and begin setting up your profile.

Through the app, you can book in one-to-one meetings with other delegates and brand representatives before you even get to PI LIVE. You can also build your own agenda by picking the sessions you would most like to attend.

The app is an invaluable networking tool and will help you make those all-important connections before the event even starts!

2. Get to sessions in plenty of time

All seating for sessions will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis, so make sure you arrive with time to spare if there is a session you are particularly keen to see.

If you don’t, you may miss out and we would hate to see that!

3. There are plenty of refreshment spots

This year we’ve increased the number of spaces for delegates to use for eating, drinking and chatting.

We’ve got the Meet & Eat area upstairs, the outside Yurt area, the Dome Stage Pit Stop, the Vouchercloud coffee area, the IMS coffee area, the Nookery, the Beer Garden, the Prosecco Lounge, and more!

4. Beat the queues

Networking, VIP and Speaker passes all jump you to the front of the registration queue. If you’ve got one of these passes, just make yourself known to event staff at registration and they’ll direct you straight to the queue jump desk.

Interested in upgrading your pass? Visit the tickets page to find out how.

5. Make the most of the networking spaces

We have so many unique networking spaces available at PI LIVE 18, from the Bacon Buttie Bar to the outside Yurt, it’s the perfect excuse to skip a couple of sessions and get your networking game on.

You can arrange to meet other attendees in any of the networking areas via the event app, and grab a bite to eat or a drink while you network.

Make sure you’ve got plenty of business cards ready to hand out, and if you’re a company why not consider sponsoring a Nook so you have a dedicated space to meet and greet delegates?

6. Pick up the event brochure

Events brochures will be available at registration for you to collect. The brochure contains a detailed map of all stages, networking areas and exhibitor stands and spaces, so it’s very helpful if you’re feeling a bit lost.

You can also find both the map and agenda on the official PI LIVE app, so if you decide to save some trees and skip the brochure you won’t miss out on this info.

7. Get your show bag

Courtesy of our sponsors Marriott, you’ll be able to collect a PI LIVE show bag full of goodies like stationary, bottle openers, and webcam covers right after registration.

The bags themselves are also very handy for storing freebies picked up from exhibitors, snacks, your brochure, and anything else you find, so make sure you don’t pass this one up.

8. Make the most of the after-show drinks

On both days of PI LIVE there will be drinks across the exhibition floor after the final talks end.
Drinks are the perfect opportunity to get in some additional networking, relax after a busy day, and on Day 1, of course, to prep for the official PI LIVE After Party and the IPMAs!

9. Ask your burning questions from your phone

Just like last year, we’ll be using Slido at PI LIVE 18 so that you can ask all those important questions that are at the forefront of your mind during sessions.

The great news is that, with Slido, you can ask questions without having to stick a hand in the air or hope a moderator spots you – everything goes through a website accessible from your smartphone. We’ll be posting a Slido guide over the coming weeks, so keep an eye out if you’d like to prepare your questions.

10. Get sociable

Use our dedicated event hashtags #PILIVE18, #IPMA18 and #IMSHOW18 to join the chatter on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.

We’ll have a scrolling wall displaying everybody’s tweets and posts that contain these tags, so you can join the conversation as easily as typing a few quick words on your phone and adding our hashtags.

That wraps up our ten top tips for PI LIVE 18!
