Our first keynote session of the conference will be Get It Done: Cutting Through The Corporate Bullshit on the Main Stage from 10.20-11.00 on Day 1. When the PI LIVE app goes live next week, you can book your place at the talk with just a couple of taps on your phone screen.

When you’re at the Main Stage for the keynote, you’ll hear from business leader and performer Cally Beaton as she discusses the nature of the workplace and leadership culture. With her trademark energy and humour, Cally will take you through a huge range of topics related to “cutting through the corporate bullshit” and creating the best possible working environment for your employees and/or colleagues.

With an experience that has seen her train senior figures across a range of industries, Cally is sure to provide fascinating and penetrating insights on how to transform your workforce. She’ll offer advice on how to incite change in your team and how to inspire them, and perhaps most importantly, how to develop the positive, agile and inclusive atmosphere that can make all the difference to a company wanting to take themselves to the next level.

Millennials, of course, have to be considered – what are their priorities and expectations when it comes to their working life? Are they so different from those of previous generations? Cally will cover these questions, and also divulge how you can make the best use of your own and your employees’ or colleagues’ creativity whilst making sure you don’t forget the importance of that bottom line.

Most of all, though, Cally will make you laugh!

Don’t believe us? Well, she’s made the finals of Fresh Comedy Knights 2016, Max Turner Prize 2016, Bath Comedy Festival 2016 and Gotham Comedy New Talent New York 2015. She was also listed in Chortle’s: 2017 Comedians To Watch, she’s appeared on QI, and her debut solo show, Super Cally Fragile Lipstick, received 4**** reviews at Edinburgh in 2017 after selling out, was covered in the national press and was picked as Best of Edinburgh Fringe by The Arts Desk.

Here are some testimonials about her stand-up from her website:
