Unveiled on the official IPMA Twitter account earlier today, the shortlist features companies, agencies and tech platforms from around the world competing in groundbreaking categories aimed at showcasing the achievements of affiliate and performance marketing at a global scale in 2018.

After its successful debut last year, the awards ceremony returns bigger and better on October 15 at Grand St. Paul’s Hotel in London, with a 70% increase in submissions from 2017, illustrating the health, depth and breadth of performance marketing around the world.

LATAM, MENA and APAC 

Once again, the regional awards boast recognition on an international scale with a number of competitors battling it out for top prizes. Categories such as Best Managed Affiliate Programme for LATAM see Awin and Experiencias Xcaret staking success on activity with brands Clickbus and Sophera respectively. Meanwhile, for MENA, Optimise Media, TradeTracker and Latitude & flynas all compete for Best Performance Marketing Campaign or Strategy.

One of the fastest growing regions, APAC, sees two categories for Best Managed Affiliate Programme and Best Performance Marketing Campaign or Strategy – with Rakuten Marketing, Optimise Media, RevLifterForward3D and the Commission Factory showcasing impressive campaigns for a chance to win respectively.

Over in the USA for Best Managed Affiliate Programme, heavyweights CJ Affiliate, Awin and Acceleration Partners go head-to-head with solid campaigns for this category, while Best Performance Marketing Campaign or Strategy in the region sees the aforementioned companies in addition to Rakuten Marketing, Scotiabank and AIM working with the likes of Gymshark, Garage & Dynamite and Sam’s Club to produce some worthy results for this award.

Optimise Media, Awin and CJ Affiliate all pit campaigns for Best Managed Affiliate Programme in Eastern Europe while for Western Europe in the same award, there are campaigns from recently rebranded Partnerize, Rakuten Marketing, CJ Affiliate and TradeTracker battling it out for the prestigious award. 

In what is no doubt one of the biggest regional categories – Best Performance Marketing Campaign or Strategy for Western Europe sees Partnerize, Awin, NMPi, Optimise Media, Vouchercloud and Wavemaker all competing against one another to claim the award.

The general awards

While there’s been a huge shift in the regional awards this year, the general awards are nothing short of impressive, boasting some of the toughest line-ups and campaigns to be recognised as world’s leading in the number of categories.

The award for Best Full Service Affiliate has a roster of shortlists featuring Awin, BitterStrawberry, CJ Affiliate, Tradedoubler and Rakuten Marketing. Meanwhile, Optimus, Rakuten Marketing, TradeTracker and Acceleration Partners all go forward for Best Managed Global Affiliate Programme.

On the performance technology side, tech platforms Impact, HasOffers by Tune, RevLifter and Partnerize show off their tools to compete for Best Performance Marketing Technology, while the growing sector of influencer marketing sees the likes of Scrunch, The Goat Agency, TopCashBack and Webgains compete in the category for Best Influencer Marketing Campaign.

Industry Choice

With the shortlist officially announced, the news also signifies the opening for Industry Choice categories, which once again include Agency, Network and Technology with companies Awin, Admitad, Optimus, Webgains, Parternize, Acceleration Partners, Button and Impact all worthy contenders respectively.
