PerformanceIN hosted the official Performance Marketing Awards’ (PMA) shortlist drinks event yesterday (March 13), ahead of the ceremony’s 12th return on April 24.

Hosted alongside PMA sponsor Impact Radius at the company’s new base in Fitzrovia, the shortlisted companies this year had the chance to meet and rub shoulders with fellow nominees and members of the judging panel.

With anticipation building for the evening itself, the event was packed to the rafters with the industry’s best and brightest in the running for an award, enjoying an informal afternoon of networking to share ideas and build new connections over a drink or two.

‘The event of the year’

Impact Radius’ director of communications, Julia Smith, expressed her excitement around this year’s nominations and why the PMAs remain such a crucial date in the industry calendar; “The PMAs recognises the efforts and successes within the industry, and to be a part of that is something hugely important to Impact Radius.

“It is the event of the year that we’re 100% backing,” she added, while on expectations for themes and trends to emerge among the winners come April, Smith predicted advances into transparency, artificial intelligence and measurement to play leading roles.
