Decision Tech, the performance marketing and data group, has acquired Mobilephonechecker.co.uk for an undisclosed sum in its latest move to strengthen its offering in the mobile phone comparison space. Mobilephonechecker’s mobile comparison engine helps customers compare over 1.2 million deals in seconds – helping them find their ideal handset deal.

Leveraging its robust cash generation, the deal represents the Decision Tech group’s third acquisition in the mobile space in under 12 months and also demonstrates its commitment to the mobile vertical.

Integrating Mobilephonechecker will progress Decision Tech towards its ambition of innovating the mobile comparison sector using a technology-led strategy that helped it become the UK’s largest Ofcom accredited broadband comparison brand, powering the offering of some of the biggest consumer comparison sites in the marketing.

Decision Tech is actively seeking further acquisitions to bolsters its portfolio of products and brands as part of the group’s growth and diversification plans. In December 2016, the acquisition of comparemymobile.com made Decision Tech the UK’s most-used price comparison service for phone and gadget recycling and sales.
