Five Essential Reasons to Download the PI LIVE App Now

PerformanceIN account manager, Chris Henley, shares five reasons why the PI LIVE is a must-have download in advance of the biggest performance marketing event of 2017.

I can’t wait until PerformanceIN Live and the inaugural Influencer Marketing Show at the impressive Old Billingsgate from October 24-25. With so many incredible speakers, exhibitors, and of course delegates, it promises to be a buzzing few days in London.

Whether it’s building leads, scouting partnerships or learning valuable insight, most attendees will have an objective for the event, but even the most organised can benefit from being efficient with their time. With that in mind, I’ve pulled up five reasons for why the PI LIVE app is well worth some of your smartphone real estate in advance of the big day.

1. Book sessions unmissable to you

With over 80 speakers on the PI LIVE roster, it would be easy to miss that particular session that’s invaluable to your and your business. Download the app, check in so people know you are going to be attending, choose which session takes your fancy and reserve your seat. Certain sessions are likely to get really busy, so I’d recommend booking early in order to avoid disappointment!

2. Network and communicate

PI LIVE will attract key stakeholders from across the globe providing rare networking opportunities. With hundreds of delegates already checked in on the app, there’s an opportunity to strike up early conversation through a direct-messaging function. Whether it paves the way for a new business partnership or just a pint at the bar, I’m sure it will all be worth the early effort!

Much like Facebook, you can also post status updates, including images - as seen below:

3. The agenda in your pocket

The whole agenda is featured within the app making the organisation of your day easier and more efficient, so wherever you are in the venue - or if you’ve stepped out for a breath of fresh air - you can see what’s coming up next.

You won’t get lost either with a detailed floor plan helping you navigate between the exhibition floor, keynote theatre and mezzanine level.

4. Plan your event

Being able to allocate your time at the show with all the networking and sessions taking place could prove tricky. Our app has a purpose-built planner ensuring you do not miss out on the action.

That allows you to book your must-see sessions into your planner, and select whether you want a notification 15 minutes before that presentation is starting - or you can set the reminder manually.

5. Question the experts

All sessions at PI LIVE are interactive courtesy of the app’s Sli.do integration. This smart tool allows you to send your questions to speakers from the palm of your hand - anonymously if you wish!

At the presenter’s discretion, these questions will show up on screen and will be tackled at the end of the session if time allows.

Start connecting!

I’ve downloaded the app and am already speaking to international delegates who are attending the show. But don’t just expect networking; the app is a fun place to share ideas, ask questions or post exciting updates.

Download the app today, connect with me - especially if you have any questions about the show - and feel good that you’ve just taken a massive step in having an enjoyable and productive two days at the event!

I look forward to seeing you at the show on October 24-25.
