Although we’ve reached the height of the holiday season, the performance marketing world has not slowed down one bit. This month, we look at those who started off their summer jumping right into new roles.

Following the departure of former affilinet UK head, Helen Southgate, leaving her post, it’s now been confirmed Southgate is Acceleration Partners’ new UK managing director as the company launches in Europe. Pisaniello will advise on pitches and align prospective clients’ business needs with Forensiq product solutions and services while Cleary, Rotheray and Samaranayake will manage the existing client base and increase the delivery of new business into Impact Radius and Forensiq.

Expanding into Japan, mobile app marketing and retargeting platform Liftoff appointed Kota Amano as the country manager. Formerly senior director of partner development, APAC, at Criteo, Amano brings over 12 years of experience in mobile ad tech and business growth to take charge of the company’s growth in Japan.

Former digital performance strategist at Arena Media UK, Aidan Mark has been appointed to the role of head of performance planning by Havas Media Group. Mark has already signalled his intentions for the role, sharing his thoughts on the relationship between low CPAs and “bad advertising” here.

Meanwhile, Jason Andrews has been named as the creative partner at digital agency Communicator to strengthen the senior team to support continued growth and the agency’s work helping brands build better relationships by encouraging marketing activation to communicate on a human level.
