One of the leading e-commerce players in the Netherlands, the 750-strong wehkamp offering consists of over 320,000 different products from over 2000 brands, spanning fashion, living, electronics, among others.

The partnership consists of a server-to-server integration with Performance Horizon, which allows for increased levels of automation and real-time reporting, with commission paid out to affiliates based on metrics such as SKU, product category, customer lifetime value, or whether specific promotions were key for wehkamp.

Those affiliates, claims Performance Horizon, will be paid within 24 hours.

Dutch domination

Wehkamp’s affiliate lead, Marije Snijder, called an advanced affiliate offering “paramount” to the success of the business, with the partnering company offering the “configurations we need to best understand the profitability of every sale and optimise partner and affiliate relationships through shared and transparent performance data.”

Performance Horizon already boasts a considerable presence in the Netherlands, with a number of e-commerce and travel brands relying on its platform to scale partnerships and drive new customers; Wehkamp joins Albert Heijn, Coolblue, KLM, Office Depot and Tommy Hilfiger, continuing a trend of leading enterprise brands moving away from legacy networks to deal with affiliate programmes directly.

The group’s co-founder of VP of revenue for EMEA, Sean Sewell, is confident the company can repeat this success with wehkamp.

“Performance Horizon provides technology with retail-specific configurations we need to best understand the profitability of every sale and optimise partner and affiliate relationships through shared and transparent performance data.”

“wehkamp will be able to drive sales growth and increase margins through their most profitable partners while benefiting from unrivalled reporting capabilities and technical support,” Sewell added.

Performance Horizon’s announcement comes not long after launching an office in Hamburg, and resulting hire of German general manager, Oskar Stenzel.
