PI Update: Influencer Marketing Takes Over PerformanceIN Next Week


From May 8 - 12, PeformanceIN will play host to an Influencer Marketing Takeover.

In October this year alongside PerformanceIN Live, we’ll be launching the Influencer Marketing Show, addressing the burgeoning channel with a characteristically sharp eye on measurement and ROI. 

Amid its fair share of controversy (PewDiePie or #FyreFest, anyone?), influencer marketing has rapidly become a mature and increasingly standardised industry and one that our own research has found that 91% of advertisers plan to shell out more on this year.

In anticipation of the debut event and to celebrate influencer marketing’s growth, next week PerformanceIN will angle its beams on the channel in the Influencer Marketing Show Takeover Week

With heaps of content penned into just five days; we’ll be tracing the channel’s evolution from “bedroom bloggers” to designated networks, how to measure its success and benchmark ROI, whether bringing programmatic into the mix is the right move, and how to find the right mouthpiece for your brand.

Mark Jones

Mark manages all aspects of editorial on PerformanceIN as the company's Head of Content, including reporting on the fast-paced world of digital marketing and curating the site’s network of expert industry contributions.

Going by the ethos that there is no 'jack-of-all-trades' in performance marketing, only experts within their field, Mark’s day-to-day aim is to provide an engaging platform for members to learn and question one another, helping to push the industry forward as a result.

Originally from Plymouth, Mark studied in Reading and London, eventually earning his Master's in Digital Journalism- before making his return to the West Country to join the PI team in Bristol.
