International clothing brand Superdry has migrated its Australian programme from APD to exclusively partner with global affiliate marketing network Awin, aligning with the rest of its programmes.

Performance marketing is a fundamental channel of Superdry’s online marketing strategy due to its cost effectiveness and ability to reach a mass market. Superdry and Awin have enjoyed a successful partnership for a number of years, with programmes currently live in the UK, US, Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

Utilising Awin’s market-leading technology including cross-device tracking and assist payments to optimise existing affiliates and recruit new partners, Superdry’s goal for the Australian market is to achieve the brand awareness it has in the UK and Europe.

Superdry’s affiliate marketing executive, Cameron Rooney, believes this is an exciting move for both companies.

“As a market leader for technology, we knew Awin could really help develop our program further. The strong account management we currently receive made it a clear decision that this was the right network from the outset. We’re happy to work with all types of affiliates to expand our brand awareness within the space and look forward to future growth on the program,” he explained.

Awin’s business development manager, Sophie Metcalfe, added: “We’re excited to be the network of choice for Superdry’s affiliate activity in Australia. It’s a fantastic brand with great traction in the territory and we look forward to working closely with the team and publisher partners to drive the program forward.”

To celebrate the launch, Superdry is running a 2% commission increase for the first month from 7% to 9%. The AU programme can be joined here.

Established in the UK in 1985, Superdry apparel fuses vintage Americana styling with Japanese-inspired graphics. It has a growing presence around the world, operating across 515 Superdry branded locations in 46 countries and shipping to over 100 countries worldwide from its online store.
