The average click-through rate (CTR) of a Facebook ad across all industries in the US is 0.9%, according to an infographic released by PPC specialist Wordstream.
Available in full below, the findings come from 256 of the company’s North American clients, with data collected from November 2016 to January this year spanning 18 industries, including apparel, auto, B2B and beauty, among others.
Interestingly, legal advertisers claim the highest CTR on Facebook’s display network, scoring 1.61%, while at just 0.47%, employment/job training advertisers claim the lowest. Meanwhile, the average cost per click (CPC) across all industries is $1.72, while for cost per action, that figure sits at $18.68.
