Rising Star Series: Kaltrina Brahimi, Technical Operations Executive - Forensiq

Sponsored by Affiliate Future, the Performance Marketing Awards’ Industry Rising Star category shines the spotlight on the next generation of marketers entering the industry of results-driven advertising.

Recognising a mixture of natural talent, working ethic, enthusiasm, and the early showings of a prosperous career, it’s a highly sought-after category, so with nominations open until April 7, PerformanceIN’s Rising Star Series is a chance to meet the candidates in more detail.

Today, we’re speaking to Forensiq technical operations executive, Kaltrina Brahimi.

What excites you most about the performance marketing industry?

Kaltrina Brahimi: The performance marketing industry is full of challenges when it comes to assessing performance metrics, optimisation and tracking the entire customer journey. The biggest challenge currently, though, is how marketers tackle affiliate fraud. Our leading fraud prevention tool allows our partners to not only optimise traffic delivery but enhance overall performance by eliminating fraud from their entire marketing spend. Working within the tech vendor side of the industry has therefore allowed me to have a full spectrum view of these challenges and mobilise our partners to face them head on.

Being a part of the solution-oriented tech to support this drive keeps me engaged and excited. I am particularly interested to see how initiatives such as the IAB LEAN ads programme will impact the industry and how we as an industry will reposition to go beyond static creatives and metrics towards more personalised, purpose-driven content.

Within your performance marketing career to date, what do you count as your biggest achievement, and why?

KB: Within my role at Forensiq, I have been able to play an essential part in fraud prevention strategy for a significant number of brands and publishers across the industry. To be able to affect such tangible change on a daily basis is a huge privilege and also makes it is difficult to single out my biggest achievement to date. However, one area that I am particularly proud of is my ability to help clients utilise our tools to gain actionable insights in a digestible and accessible format, making the process of facing the manifold challenges of fraud easier and less painful.

What would winning Industry Rising Star mean to you?

KB: I joined the industry as an intern just over a year ago and have progressed swiftly to become a senior operations manager. I have also played a key role during our merger with Impact Radius, and it would be a great honour to be recognised for my achievements by my peers and managers.
