Rising Star Series: Why You Should Get to Know the Shortlisted Candidates


As of this morning, you might start noticing a number of short interviews appearing across PerformanceIN. That’s because this week - with voting still open until April 7 - we’re running the Rising Star series, a chance to get to know the shortlisted candidates in the Performance Marketing Awards’ highly sought-after Industry Rising Star category.

For each of the 13 young marketers in this year’s shortlist, the award could be career-making; a certification of their drive, reputation among peers, talent and diligence in pursuit of success in the industry of results-based marketing. However, this award has an equal weight of significance for the industry as a whole...

In essence, this category represents the next generation of performance marketing - the new members who could well be the next leaders of innovation - while the record competition among candidates to be recognised as performance marketing’s brightest young prospect is no small tribute to the industry’s widening maturity.

Whether or not you’ve already voted for one of the shortlisted candidates, the Rising Star series is a chance to get to know the new performance marketer, to find out what drives them, what excites them most about this rapidly-growing industry, and where their ambitions lie.

We’ll be running this series for one week only, so keep an eye out for the interviews from today onwards, share them if you can, and help support the next generation of performance marketing.
