Singapore-headquartered audience data supplier Eyeota is expanding its global footprint with an office opening in New York, aimed at supporting the company’s intense growth plans in North America.

The expansion follows a $7 million series A funding round in January, set aside for growing its development team and entering new territories, while 2015 saw it claim a threefold increase in revenue and growth.

The group also opened offices in Melbourne and Tokyo last year, helping it achieve the objective of providing services across Europe, APAC and Latin America, and paving the way for further growth, according to CEO and co-founder, Kevin Tan.

“Now that we have established deep roots in these regions working with top agencies and brands, we are well-positioned for US growth,” commented Tan, who will be relocating to New York to oversee the first stage of growth.

‘Exponential growth’

The audience data company has access to over three billion unique profiles in the regions where it operates, providing a comprehensive view of audience data for brands such as Mastercard, Dentsu Aegis Network and WPP.

Russ Fradin, CEO of employee advocacy company Dynamic Signal, lauded Tan’s leadership in making Eyeota an audience data and market insights leader on a global scale.

“Eyeota’s exponential growth in audience data segments and expansion to new markets is a testament to Kevin’s international expertise and business acumen,” he added.

The new office will primarily consist of marketing, data analysis, product development, sales and account support staff. It is expected to double the number of employees within the next six months.
