This year’s PMI: London is set to be bigger and better than ever before, with over 1,000 attendees set to descend on the Westminster Park Plaza next week between October 25 – 26 for a lowdown on modern-day performance marketing.

With three keynotes, two main conference tracks, the Optimise Dome Stage, Debate & Discuss sessions and a packed exhibition hall, it’s no easy task to plan your time across the two days.

Here are our top tips to make sure you get the most out of your time at the event.

Plan your time using the event app

Ahead of next Tuesday you should get to know the agenda, the exhibitors, the networking opportunities and see where your time is best spent. We’ve made this as easy as possible by putting everything onto the official event app, sponsored by Marriott International.

You can sign up to sessions to create your own agenda, message fellow attendees  to arrange meetings, view the venue’s floorplan and get the lowdown on our speakers, sponsors and networking events, all before you’ve put a foot on the event floor.

New to the app this year is the sli.do feature, which allows you to ask speakers a question or upvote the questions you would like to get put forward – that means there’s no excuses for being shy about raising your hand. Be sure to get involved in the discussion!

Delegates are already setting up meetings and organising their time. You’ll need to register for a conference pass to be sent a passphrase for the app – register now to gain access.

Get networking

With over 1,000 attendees on-site it can be hard to know where to start meeting people. Our specially selected networking events are there to help you connect with the right people.

It all kicks off with the Monday night Charity Pub Quiz where you can go head to head with other attendees and their companies. There will be a raffle on the night where you can win prizes such as 2 x flights to Canary Islands courtesy of Thomas Cook Airlines, £100 ASOS vouchers & £100 Children Rooms vouchers. There’s only a few spaces for teams left, and you can sign-up here.

We’ll be continuing the games over the two days with Jenga, hula hoop and ping-pong tournaments, all hosted on the Optimise Dome Stage, which have prizes for the winners. You can put your name forward for these on the day by heading to the Registration Desk.

We’re also bringing back Speed Networking by popular demand, allowing you to enjoy short, sharp conversations with fellow delegates before moving onto the next promising new contact. To get involved, just sign-up under the agenda tab in the app.

And the fun doesn’t stop in the evening, as after a long first day you can let your hair down and party with your new contacts at our Club Tropicana after-party. For entry you must add yourself to the guest-list ahead of Tuesday, October 25. Sign-up via the Eventbrite page here.

Head to the Optimise Dome Stage

To supplement all of the sessions on our two main conference tracks, we’ll be putting on a whole host of entertainment on the Optimise Dome Stage.

Use the Dome Stage in the exhibition hall as a central hub for your time at the conference; taking advantage of the sessions and using it to find your way around. As well as hosting the tournaments and speed networking mentioned above, it will feature head-to-head discussions, masterclasses and case studies for you to take actionable advice back to the office.

Surrounding the stage will be our exhibitors, who will be ready to chat to you about maximising your performance marketing strategy. There will be swag to collect, competitions to enter, with coffees, beers and cocktails also on offer.

Finally, don’t forget to let other people know you’re going to be there. Get yourself seen on Twitter with the hashtag #PMILDN and click attending on the Facebook event.
