IProspect’s global operations are to be steered out of Singapore, as Dentsu Aegis Network announced the promotion of the agency’s APAC CEO, Ruth Stubbs, to global president.

Stubbs has served iProspect in the former position since 2011 and will take over from Ben Wood, who departed from the business to join Facebook in August this year.

Effective immediately, the leadership change will see Stubbs oversee the entirety of iProspect’s global proposition and operations, which comprises over 3,800 people across 52 markets.

That’s certainly a heady task, but the former APAC CEO has an impressive track record. During her five-year tenure at the business, Dentsu puts Stubbs behind a staff increase from 40 to over 1,000, as well as seven acquisitions and over 50% revenue growth year on year.

“With Ruth’s strong leadership driving the outstanding growth of iProspect Asia Pacific over the past five years she was the standout choice for the role,” said Jerry Buhlmann, global CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network.

“I am confident Ruth’s experience and tenacity will make her a great addition to the global Brand Board and take iProspect to the next level for our clients.”

The new global president claims over 25 years’ experience in media and digital marketing to date, which spans leadership roles at companies Mediabrands and GroupM Interaction Asia Pacific. She also spent 10 years with Euro RSCG Worldwide heading digital media operations in New York, Hong Kong and Sydney.

Stubbs said: “As the leader in global digital performance, iProspect is committed to building relevant, scalable value-based solutions for our clients. This will be my primary focus, made possible by our passionate and talented people around the world.”
