Tinder might not be the obvious choice for an SEO session but Olga Andrienko, head of social media at SEMrush, chose the dating app as a place to test marketing techniques.

Thinking outside the box is the top tip from her BrightonSEO session “Tinder Science of A/B Testing and Conversion Optimisation,” where she talked about creating the perfect profile and a ‘seven-message’ conversion funnel, but also how to use Tinder for market research and branding.

As she talks about marketing, dating apps and content, Olga highlights that search engine optimisation is no longer thought of in a silo, but as a connected part of the marketing mix.
