French performance marketing tech giant and retargeting specialist Criteo announced former COO Eric Eichmann as the firm’s new CEO, following the departure from the position of its founder, JB Rudelle, who intends to join the board of directors this year.

Criteo’s new operations in the Middle East also saw its managing director of emerging markets, Dirk Henke, make the move from Munich to oversee operations at the group’s Dubai hub.

Admedo, a UK-based programmatic ad platform, welcomed former Unanimis president and founder, Khalil Ibrahimi, into the newly created role of UK managing director, where his focus will be on growing the group’s UK business with brands, agencies, and publishers.

Agency

Digital media agency 7thingsmedia appointed a new CFO in Belinda Doherty, who leaves behind a post as finance and operations director at BergHind. Doherty steps into the newly-created board-level role boasting over 15 years of finance experience.

Another newly-created role has been filled at Starcom Mediavest Group, with Thaer Namruti installed as senior vice president of precision marketing strategy, having left the post of European strategy director at Acxiom. He walks away from the title SVP of data and analytics of dynamic markets at the agency.

Publishing

The Association of Online Publishers (AOP) has named its former business and commercial development consultant, Richard Reeves, as new managing director. Reeves will use his experience and understanding of issues affecting premium publishers to lead the evolution of the regulatory body over the next three years.

Jennifer L. Wong, chief business officer for global media, technology and women’s lifestyle company, PopSugar, has been added to the board of directors for Marfeel, a mobile ad technology partner. In her daily role, Wong leads business operations, development and growth strategy across all of the publisher’s content and commerce platforms.

Data

Online retailing specialist, Summit, has taken on Dunnhumby veteran Martin Corcoran in the brand new role of head of insight consulting. Corcoran’s hire reinforces the group’s commitment to insight and data-led retailing strategies.

Finally, an industry stalwart and founding member of PHG, Matt Bailey has been handed the title of business director at technology agency and retail data specialist FusePump, tasked with growing the company’s multichannel division and looking after the company’s portfolio of high street clients.
