A raft of personnel changes at ZenithOptimedia’s senior management unit will see current UK CEO Grant Millar take the position of chief client officer at ZenithOptimedia Worldwide – the digital agency’s global outfit.

Millar served formerly as Dentsu Aegis’s president of global clients, and joined ZenithOptimedia UK in January this year.

The new role will see him bring his experience in managing global clients, reporting to the company’s global managing partner and UK chairman, Belinda Rowe.

Mark Howley will be making the step up from managing director to become chief executive of the group’s UK office on Millar’s departure, to be joined by Natalie Cummins – promoted into Howley’s former position from MD of Zenith UK.

The lead role of Zenith UK will be handed to Simon Fuller who leaves the title of client partner, while Rob Gold will leave the same position to become MD of Optimedia UK.

“Richly deserved”

Rowe spoke of her ‘delight’ in the string of promotions as part of driving the company’s “primary focus” of global business growth.

“I am absolutely delighted that Grant is able to build on his success at ZenithOptimedia UK by taking on this critical role in Worldwide.

“Mark’s promotion to UK CEO is also richly deserved. He has done fantastic work over the past couple of years building relationships with clients such as Aviva and Nestlé and taking charge of the operational running of the business.”
